Albion StopNow! Release Notes

This page describes the changes between different versions of Albion StopNow!. Note that in accordance with our no risk Upgrade Policy, 3.x license keys can be used for any 3.x version.

Don't forget to exit and uninstall the program before installing a later version!

Version 3.6

• Windows 7 Support
• Marginally better graphics.
• Now only supported on Windows XP or later.

Version 3.5

• Improved help and graphics.
• Windows Installer (.msi) based distribution.
• Now only supported on Windows 2000 or later.

Version 3.3

• Changes to dialogs and registration process.
• Minor improvements to the help file.

Version 3.2a

• This version fixes a problem with Version 3.2 which prevented it running on some versions of Windows. On problem Windows versions the program would dispaly the error message Windows request to detect keyboard activity failed and then exit.

Version 3.2

• Added new option to change colors of window captions to make rest times more obvious. This feature makes it easier to use Albion StopNow! in a very noisy environment, or when there is no functioning sound system in the computer.
• Major rewrite of help files.

Version 3.1

• The Default Beeps option in the control panel will now use the PC Speaker on Windows NT/2000. This allows the program to be used on a computer with a sound card but no speakers.
• The aesthetics of some dialogs have been improved.
• Minor improvements to documentation.

Version 3.0b

• Fixed problem with saving option settings.
• Clarified some ambiguous wording in the documentation.
• Updated URLs in documentation.

Version 3.0

• Complete rewrite to substantially reduce program size.
• Added Control Panel Sounds option.
